Design Thinking Workshop

East-European Center for Research in Economics and Business (ECREB) and the Departmentof Management and Entrepreneurship (DMA) from the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, West University of Timişoara invite all interested academics and students to:

Design Thinking Workshop

This Workshop is proposed by ORSÙ Innovation Lab which looks at Open Innovation as the main tool to connect university students, institutions and companies in order to develop paths of mutual learning for  the development of innovation and sustainability.

The workshop is based on collaboration and continuous interaction, in an alternation of five moments: Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, Test. In the first phase (Empathize), the team of students develops a needs analysis focused on creating empathic relationships with people/users; In the Define phase the “space of investigation” is explored, and the needs/opportunities are identified. In the next phase (Ideate), the team elaborates as many ideas as possible to respond to the business challenge. Then, also through the continuous comparison with the company/Institution, the students develop a concept/prototype (or a series of prototypes) that are then tested by the end users themselves.
