Western Balkans and the European Union. Lessons from past enlargements, challenges to further integrations


Contributions will be organized around two panels: Panel 1 – Economy, Governance, Institutional Environment and Panel 2 – A geopolitical panel extensions.

Interested researchers should submit their papers or extended proposals to Tsvetalina Marinova (tsvetelina.marinova@gmail.com) no later than September 1st, 2014. Authors of the accepted papers will be notified no later than September 19, 2014.

The conference will be held in Sofia on October 8, 2014, and followed by the two days meeting (October 9-10, 2014) of the South-Eastern European Monetary History Network held by the central banks in the region. The topic of the conference will be Exploring South-Eastern Europe in a Historical and Comparative Perspective.
