Flavia BARNA
Flavia BARNA is a Professor of Finance at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, West University of Timisoara, and a Ph.D. Coordinator pursuing research on topics related to capital markets and the insurance market. She has published in journals such as Economic Modelling, Applied Economics, Economic Computation, and Economic Cybernetics Studies and Research.
Nicoleta FARCANE
is Professor, PhD at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, West University of Timisoara, Accounting and Auditing Department She teaches in the fields of international accounting, financial reporting standards, corporate governance and consolidation accounting techniques. She has a PhD in management at University of Nizza (1993-1997) and a PhD in accounting at West University of Timisoara (1992-1998). She is member of several professional bodies, including CECCAR (the Body of Expert and Licensed Accountants of Romania), CAFR (Chamber of Financial Auditors of Romania), CCF (Chamber of Fiscal Advisors in Romania). Nicoleta is a long standing reviewer and member in the editorial boards of multiple journals (among which The Journal of Accounting and Management Information Systems, Review of Economic and Business Studies Analele Universitatii 1 Decembrie Alba Iulia, Analele Universitatii din Oradea, Analele Universitatii din Targu Mures). During the years, she published many articles and books on various research topics.
Camelia HAȚEGAN
is Professor PhD Habil. at Department of Accounting and Audit at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, West University of Timisoara, Romania and from February 2018 is PhD Supervisor in accounting domain. Her current research focuses on accounting, financial and non-financial reporting, financial auditing and entrepreneurship in the accounting profession. She has presented a great number of papers of this field in scientific journals and conference proceedings. She has been participating in multiannual grants as director or a member.
Marius Cristian MILOȘ
Miloș Marius Cristian is Associate Professor PhD. at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, West University of Timișoara (Romania), where he delivers lectures on Financial management, Taxation and Corporate law. His current research interests include: stock market efficiency, legal determinants of stock market development. His articles have been published in various international journals indexed in Web of Science, such as: Applied Economics Letters, Economic research – Ekonomska Istrazivanja, Ekonomicky Casopis, Sustainability, Transylvanian Review of Administrative Sciences, International Journal of Financial Studies, Laws, Juridical Tribune.
Mihaela MUNTEAN
Mihaela MUNTEAN is the chair of the Business Information Systems Department at the West University of Timisoara and a Ph. D. supervisor in the field of Economic Informatics. Starting with year 2022, professor Mihaela Muntean joined the Doctoral School of Economics and Business Administration, West University of Timisoara. Her research activity includes topics like Business Intelligence and Analytics, Data Management, Decision Support Systems, Agile Development Frameworks. Over 70 papers in indexed journals, conference proceedings, and the involvement with success in 8 multi-annual national research grants/projects are sustaining her contributions in the research fields mentioned above.
Miruna NĂCHESCU
is currently working as Associate Professor, PhD at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, West University of Timișoara. She is the Chief of Staff for the Rector’s Office. In addition, she is responsible for the Erasmus Programs in the Finance Department. Miruna’s main fields of teaching are Corporate Finance and Capital Markets. She has authored or co-authored 8 books and more than 50 scientific papers, as part of different research teams. Her main research interests are in Corporate Finance, Restructuring of companies, Capital Markets and Economic Growth. She is member of several professional and scientific associations. Moreover, she is the assistant editor of the Journal of Heterodox Economics, and has been in the scientific board of many conferences and journals. In practice, she has worked as an economist, CFO in local or national companies, as well as consultant in financial management, taxation and investments.
Mihaela NEAMȚU
Mihaela Neamțu, PhD, is Professor PhD habil. of Mathematics at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, West University of Timisoara, Romania. The main direction of the research field is related to the study of dynamical systems from economy, computer science, biology and medicine described by nonlinear differential equations with time delay. She was Director in two national research projects and the Management Committee Membership in a COST Action 2016-2020. The autonomy of the research activity is reflected by the outcome materialized in 6 books, over 110 articles in ISI and BDI journals. She reviewed articles submitted to BDI and ISI journals. It is worth mentioning over 600 citations in ISI and BDI journals. She is a member of East European Centre for Research in Economics and Business.
Grațiela NOJA
Grațiela Georgiana Noja is the Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, West University of Timisoara, Romania, in charge of academic and student affairs, and Full Professor, Ph.D. habil., at the same faculty, Department of Marketing and International Economic Relations. She is also a Ph.D. coordinator within the Doctoral School of Economics and Business Administration. She completed her studies with the highest honours at the West University of Timisoara, respectively a Ph.D. habilitation in Economics, Ph.D. in Economics, a master’s in Management and European integration, BA in International Economic Relations. She was the manager of the Erasmus+ project „Coordinated higher education institutions responses to digitalization” (2019-1-RO01-KA203-063214) implemented during 2019-2021 and developed throughout the years several national and international projects. She has around 30 publications indexed in the Web of Science Core Collection and a couple dozen of other publications in relevant international journals/books/collective volumes. Also, she is an active member of the International Strategic Management Association and has a wide membership in various educational organizations, research networks, scientific and review committees of top-tier journals, and international conferences. Her main research and teaching activities are developed within the framework of Economics and International Business area, with a keen focus on European economic integration, international migration, digital transformation, and sustainable economic development.
Ioana VĂDĂSAN
Ioana VĂDĂSAN is Associate Professor at the West University of Timisoara, Romania, Faculty of Economics and Business Administration. She teaches Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, and European Economics. Between September 2010 and August 2013, she has been the holder of the Jean Monnet Teaching Module “European Economics. Economic Integration”. Since 2011, she is Visiting Professor at the University Côte d’Azur in Nice, France. Her research areas are Economics, European Economics, and Economic Integration. She is a member of the International Association of French–Speaking Economists (Association Internationale des Economistes de Langue Française), as well as of the Romanian Association for Regional Sciences.
