As part of the TIMTED 2025 conference, we are pleased to announce a special hands-on workshop that will take place on the second day of the event:

An Introduction to Python

Professor Raychaudhuri is a distinguished academic with expertise in econometrics, applied statistics, and data science. His engaging teaching style and practical approach to coding make this workshop a valuable opportunity for doctoral students, early-career researchers, and anyone eager to explore Python for data analysis.

This short workshop will introduce you to programming in Python (and especially those bits that are relevant to economists). If you are completely new to programming and you would like to learn how to program in a new language – this workshop is for you. No prior experience with Python is required – just bring your curiosity!
