ECREB e-Lectures “Thinking beyond the magical realism. Intercultural management in Colombia and Latin America
East-European Center for Research in Economics and Business (ECREB) invites all interested academics and students to a new edition of ECREB e-Lectures on May 2nd, 2022, 6 pm -7.30 pm (hybrid event), having as special guest LADY GAVIRIA-OCHOA professor at Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana (UPB), Medellin – Colombia.
The presentation focuses on:
- The image that the world has on Colombia and Latin America when it comes to magical realism, especially since the Disney’s production Encanto has grasped the attention of a global audience;
- Exploring the complexity of Colombian culture and how it connects to intercultural management, especially the models of Hostede and GLOBE;
- Transversal topics that connect culture and intercultural management in Latin America, considering the models mentioned above.
